First Story: Key Player Palmer Fit for Important Capital Clash with The Gunners

The Blues head coach Enzo Maresca announced on Friday that Cole Palmer is available for selection for the team's vital Premier League fixture against local opponents Arsenal.

The 23-year-old England international was out of action due to a broken toe sustained after an accidental occurrence.

“He is fit to begin and feature,” Maresca commented. “The whole team is delighted.”

In the current campaign, Palmer has made only four appearances in every contest, finding the net on two occasions.

Since his arrival from City in the previous year, he has recorded 45 scores and 29 helpers in 101 appearances for the London club.

“He is our most valuable asset, we are delighted he is back, we need to provide him with time to be 100% fit,” Maresca continued. “He has done fantastic in the past and no doubt he is going to do exceptionally well for this club in the future.”

2. Everton Receive No Reason for Failed Idrissa Gueye Dismissal Challenge

The Merseyside club have failed in their challenge against Idrissa Gueye's dismissal for a fight with fellow player Michael Keane during the squad's narrow win at Old Trafford.

When asked about more issues from the incident, Moyes remarked: “It was over immediately, it was done, that was it, we progressed quite quickly and it was all sorted within the dressing room.”

3. Yoane Wissa Practices with The Magpies for First Time since Injury

Newcastle United's new signing Yoane Wissa has practiced with his new teammates for the first time since suffering a knee problem soon after his arrival from Brentford in the autumn.

Manager Eddie Howe announced the news on the end of the week but withheld a possible comeback timeline for the 29-year-old.

The team signed the forward for £55m to replace Alexander Isak, who moved to Liverpool for a British record sum.

Unfortunately, Wissa was hurt while on national team duty before he could make his debut for Newcastle.

Howe added: “We’ve got [a return date] in mind, but it’s likely best if I do not share it publicly. We don’t want to disappoint anyone. Of course, we want to include him as quickly.”

Additionally, the defender will be sidelined for a four-week period with a hamstring injury.

4. Liverpool' Poor Form ‘Doesn’t Matter’, Insists West Ham Boss Nuno

West Ham United head coach Nuno Espírito Santo has insisted that the reigning champions' dip in performance “should not be a focus” as his team gets ready to take on the ailing top-flight champions.

Arne Slot's team has been defeated in six of their previous seven league games, dropping out of the top 10 of the table.

Nevertheless, Nuno highlighted that there can be no taking it easy when the sides meet on the weekend at the London Stadium.

West Ham will welcome back Lucas Paquetá after his ban, while Crysencio Summerville and Dinos Mavropanos are progressing in their recovery from fitness issues.

5. Gibbs-White Could Feature for Forest against Brighton

Nottingham Forest's manager Sean Dyche is optimistic that Morgan Gibbs-White will be available for the side's at home fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

The England international was absent for the midweek Europa League game against Malmö due to a back injury.

“Fortunately, it seems to be calming down,” Dyche commented as he got ready to face Fabian Hürzeler's team, who have taken seven points from their past three matches.

“It’s similar to a sore back, but a morning sort of injury, one where you just rest awkwardly or move improperly. So we’re not anticipating, at this stage anyway, that it’s too serious and it’s easing already. So we’re hopeful that it’ll be okay for the weekend.”

Murillo was feeling his hamstring after the comfortable European victory, but Dyche indicated the player “will likely be available”.

However, the full-back (thigh injury), Douglas Luiz (thigh), the winger (hamstring), the striker (knee), and Oleksandr Zinchenko (hip) are expected to miss out.
