Three Named as Finalists for Young Sports Personality Honour

England footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts sensation Luke Littler and batswoman Davina Perrin have been named as finalists for the 2025 Young Sports Star of the Year award.
The trio have been recognised for their exceptional achievements over the last year.
Agyemang was instrumental as the Lionesses claim victory in Euro 2025, Littler won the world title for the first time, and Perrin burst onto the scene with a historic innings.
Littler was the recipient in 2024 after his remarkable rise.
The shortlisted athletes were announced live on a widely-listened-to radio show.
This year's winner will be unveiled on the Sports Personality of the Year show on Thursday, 18 December.
The ceremony will be televised from 19:00 GMT.

Only 90 days after her senior team debut, Agyemang played a pivotal and thrilling role in England's run to European Championship victory.
She came off the bench to score key tying goals in both the quarter-final and semi-final.
Her incredible contributions led to her being named the tournament's top young talent.
Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl trophy for the best young player in Europe.
She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the planet's top young female footballer.
Agyemang, who has been on loan at Brighton from Arsenal, suffered an ACL injury in October.
"Being on the shortlist for this award is a privilege," said Agyemang. "I thank God and I'm grateful for the support I've received from my inner circle and supporters."
Littler's Profile

Littler kicked off the year in incredible form as - at just 17 years old - he became the youngest darts world champion in history.
He secured a dominant victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His subsequent victory at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious triple crown of major titles.
He didn't stop there - his victory at November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he climbed to world number one for the maiden occasion.
At 18, he is the youngest man to do so, shattering the previous record.
"Earning a spot on the shortlist for the honour once more is a massive accolade," stated Littler. "Winning last year was a highlight for me and I've had another amazing 12 months. I want to continue raising the profile of darts."
Perrin's Profile
Age: 19 Sport: Cricket
Perrin is one of English cricket's most exciting young talents and surged to prominence with an unbelievable and unprecedented innings in August.
Her brilliant 42-ball century in The Hundred is the quickest ever by an English female in T20s.
It also stands as the joint third-fastest women's T20 century in a premier tournament.
Perrin ended up as runner-up in the season's run tally and was named PCA Women's Young Player of the Year.
"I'm incredibly grateful to be named a finalist for the young athlete award," expressed Perrin. "It's a very special feeling. I hope it inspires more girls to get into cricket."
